Genesis - Sebastião Salgado

In 2014 I was kindly enough invited along to watch a screening of Wim Wenders latest film "The salt of the earth" -  a documentary introducing me to the life and work of economist and photographer Sebastião Salgado. I was truly struck by his latest project "Genesis", the result of an 8 year long expedition across the world showcasing it all in it's natural beauty, highlighting the importance of our natural world.
Any admirer of the works of Ansel Adams look here - this photobook is also a showcase of the mastery of monochrome.
As Salgado puts it himself, Genesis is "my love letter to the planet"
